From a young age I knew I loved two things: talking to people and the beauty industry. When deciding on what career path to choose, attending The Aveda Institute of Indianapolis was the perfect fit. After ten years in this industry I am lucky enough to own this amazing salon with my husband, work with the best people, and connect with my clients on a daily basis. My favorite part about my job is making people feel good about themselves, not just with their image but through conversation. I feel so fortunate to have landed in this incredible industry. Becoming a mom, stylist, and business owner are the best decisions I've ever made! Doing hair has always been a passion of mine! Growing up, I was inspired by my own hair stylist and had 3 sisters that always kept me interested in doing hair because I would play with theirs! I’m originally from The Fort and attended Masters of Cosmetology here in town. I love making people feel good about themselves and nothing makes me more happy than building a personal connection with my clients! I also truly enjoy learning new techniques and trends happening in the industry to keep me inspired as a professional! One of my greatest strengths is making a classic style feel modern. I also enjoy men’s cuts, highlights, balayage, and full color services. I feel it’s very important to keep your hair healthy! Outside of doing hair, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my child (our dog) :) I also love to travel, spend time with family, cook, and of course, drink some wine! “Invest in your hair, it’s the crown you never take off.”

With over 10 years of experience and numerous advanced education classes, I love this job more than ever! I studied cosmetology at the AVEDA Institute of Indianapolis. From there, I did hair for a few years in Indy before moving back to be closer to my family. My favorite part of the job is getting to know people on such a personal level and making them feel good about themselves! I love to do all types of hair, especially short cuts/bobs and highlights. Some of my favorite things to do are hang out with my daughter & husband, shop, play volleyball, and go to the pool or anything in the sunshine!

I grew up in Fort Wayne but wanted to try something new so I decided to pursue a cosmetology license by attending the AVEDA Institute in Charlotte, NC where I learned many different ways to style, cut, and color hair. My stylist, Mallory, growing up would always help me overcome my hair insecurities and really pushed me to want to do the same for other people so I decided to become a hair stylist! The thing I love the most about this job is making people in my chair feel beautiful. I really enjoy doing highlights and love making people “look like that picture” they saw! Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. They are my world! Can’t wait to see you in my chair! :)

Ever since I was little watching my mom get ready, I knew my purpose in life was to help others achieve their desired look and that doing hair was my purpose. I attended the Steven Papageorge Hair Academy in Chicago, IL and did hair in the city for a few years before moving back to Fort Wayne with my husband to start a family! I love the fulfillment and gratification of making others feel like the best version of themselves. I have always been very strong in custom color formations and balayage. I love exploring with my two dogs, Maizy & Marty, cooking, crafting, and doing anything animal related! A quote that has always stuck with me is, “Not all of us can do great things, but we can do small things with great love.” -Mother Teresa

I remember being a receptionist at a hair salon in high school - that’s when I discovered that this was my true passion! At AVEDA Frederic’s Institute of Indianapolis, I learned so many different cutting styles and went through many intense trainings to help pave my path as a successful stylist. I love meeting new people and discovering what makes my guests feel beautiful. Since graduating, I have been to many advanced cutting and color classes to help keep me up to date with current trends and the latest techniques. My goal is to be the best, most well rounded stylist I can be. In my free time, I enjoy teaching dance and being with friends & family! “It is a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together.”

I have had a passion for doing hair and making people feel beautiful for as long as I can remember! I grew up in New Haven and always stayed close to the city. I attended the Douglas J. AVEDA Institute where I really learned to appreciate the art of cutting and coloring hair. Over the years, I have attended many different advanced color and cutting classes, making me an experienced and very thorough stylist. Spending time with my family and friends is super important to me so I always make the most of it! One of my favorite quotes is, “Hair is your best accessory!”

I am originally from Detroit, MI but have really enjoyed living in the Hoosier state! I attended the Douglas J. AVEDA Institute in Ann Arbor where I learned all the ins and outs of this profession and really grew to love doing hair as a form of art. I love that I’m able to showcase my personality through my profession. I really enjoy coloring, balayage, cutting different styles, men’s cuts, and gaining new knowledge by attending classes frequently. Other things I really enjoy outside of work are writing and photography!

I've been attracted to the beauty industry for as long as I can remember! With a mom that was a hairstylist growing up I decided at an early age that I wanted to do just that when I was older. As soon as a I graduated high school I attended Capitol School of Cosmetology and Esthetics for both cosmetology and esthics in Omaha, NE where I was born and raised. My passion from the start was to help people look and feel like the best versions of themselves. During my journey as a stylist, I've been fortunate to know some beautiful, creative individuals who have really helped shape me as a beauty expert I am today. My focus will always be on education because I value giving my clients the results they deserve and I believe that starts by keeping up to date with the latest trends and techniques in the industry. My strengths are in hair cutting and balayage. In my free time I enjoy yoga, cooking, painting and spending time with my wonderful boyfriend. “Life is a gift, and it offers us the privilege, opportunity, and responsibility to give something back by becoming more” -Tony Robbins
